ANNA KUVAJA, PIANIST "Anna Kuvaja has the ability to play herself into the audience’s heart." (Folke Forsman, Huvudstadsbladet 6 March 2008) Anna Kuvaja (b.1979) graduated with a master’s degree from the Sibelius Academy in 2006, having received the highest possible grade for her diploma recital. Anna has performed as a soloist, chamber musician and Lied pianist in Finland, many European countries and the USA. She also records for the Finnish national broadcasting company, YLE. Her greatest love is performing chamber music. Anna was a member of the Orchestra Academy of the Zurich Opera in 2005-7, where her activities included much chamber music and accompanying auditions as well as playing in the opera orchestra.
